Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mittal is a highly experienced and accomplished Chief Architect at Bharti Airtel with over 29 years of IT, Process, and Network experience in the Telecom Domain. He is a multifaceted leader, innovator, and team builder with sound managerial and technical skills, helping large organizations to deliver innovative and optimized services and solutions in a timely manner. As the Chief Architect at Airtel, Sudhir is responsible for the end-to-end architecture of Airtel’s entire Technology Landscape, including web & mobile apps, backend platforms, APIs, 3rd party integrations, operations stability, supporting infrastructure, and driving the digital agenda forward. He has a wide knowledge of IT and Network standards such as eTOM, SID, TAM, TIP, ITIL, ITU, 3GPP, ETSI, IETF, and is a Level 4 eTOM, SID, and Frameworx certified professional from TM Forum. Prior to joining Airtel, Sudhir was the Senior Vice President and Chief Architect (Integration & Data) at Reliance Jio, where he spearheaded the 4G BSS, OSS, Systems, and Process architecture work as part of the architecture leadership team. He has also worked in Rancore Technologies (now merged with Reliance Jio) as VP, RCOM as Divisional Head, C-DOT as Business Unit Head - BSS/OSS, NIC as Process and Systems Analyst, and Tata Motors as GTE. He has also worked closely with BSNL, MTNL, DoT, and TEC for their systems and network deployments. Sudhir holds a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, an MBA from IIT Delhi, and a B.E. (EC) from DCE, Delhi. He has about 50 contributions in ITU-T in the area of NGN during 2005-2006 and has several international publications in leading journals of the world. He is also an active speaker at industry conferences. Sudhir's tech stack includes expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, Backend, Web, and Infra Integration.
